When it comes to a bridge re-opening, you can count on a Countess

Reuniting the good people of Rochester and Strood in the midst of the River Medway, the re-opening of a shored up Rochester Bridge brings out the crowds and newsreel cameras. Guest of honour is Australian-born Florence Rose Bligh, the Countess of Darnley. Her bigger claim to fame is as one of the women who presented the original Ashes urn to the English cricket captain Ivo Bligh - whom she subsequently married.
