Overview
The timeless tranquillity of the English countryside is captured in this beautifully filmed colour record of the village of Great Budworth. Only a man and his dog ambling by, or a horse and cart on the village street break the stillness, and in the sunlight, a man in uniform can enjoy a cigarette, a reminder that this peaceful picture is not so far removed in time and place from the recent war.
