Overview

The dramatic coastal scenery and picturesque villages of the Isle of Purbeck are featured in this fascinating film from the 1930s. Starting with a wide view of the landscape we soon join the holiday makers on their tour of various attractions along the Jurassic Coast. We visit Swanage, the Tilly Whim limestone caves and the lighthouse at Anvil Point. A short boat trip takes us to Studland and later, for a swim in Lulworth Cove. We end with a visit to the dramatic Corfe Castle.
