Overview

Engaging film by the Inner London Education Authority to mark the centenary of the Forster Elementary Education Act showing contemporary education methods in London primary schools, including a trip to the Tate. There are delightful scenes of lively London kids in the classroom but it’s also interesting for its progressive views on how best to educate children. Frustratingly, the names of schools are not given, although the title music is by kids at Holloway School.
