From the heights of Portsdown Hill you get a view of sixties Portsmouth and the distant Isle of Wight in this short film from F Howard.
From the collection of:

Overview
F Howard's short film captures a grimy view of Portsmouth from the heights of Portsdown Hill. The island character of the city is revealed by the stretches of water that encircle the city. It's also possible to glimpse the industrial infrastructure of the harbour as well as the high chimneys of factories and power stations in the distance. Even further away is the outline of the Isle of Wight. We also get a brief glimpse of Fort Southwick as well as traffic passing below.
