The East Anglian Film Archive, the first and largest Regional Film Archive in England, was established in 1976. Since 1984, EAFA has been owned and operated by the University of East Anglia, Norwich (UEA), to support research and work to preserve our moving image heritage. More than 250 hours are freely available online as examples of the wide range of film which attracts interest the world over.

Overview
“Our Home Town” is a post-war record of the quiet Cambridgeshire village of Fenstanton, showing local landmarks: the Clock Tower on Bell Lane, C. King Grocers, the Church of St Peter and St Paul, ‘The Manse’ on Chequer Street. It also shows the dairy, with rows of milk churns, and later a passing milk lorry. The decade of recording is thought to be the 1940s, although the exact year is not known, however, a visit to the War Memorial perhaps hints at the late-1940s. Although the memorial commemorates the residents of Fenstanton who were killed or missing in both the First World War (19 names) and the Second World War (3 names).
