Money from Milk
Well-fed cows enjoy their remarkably clean and bright cowshed in Winterbourne Monkton, Wiltshire.
Overview
Dairy farmer Ben Cooper is the leading man in this polished film promoting a brand of livestock feed which includes tempting delicacies such as "gold label milk nuts". At East Farm in Winterbourne Monkton near Avebury, Cooper shows off his herd and shares tips on how to maximise milk yields.
The film was sponsored by British Oil and Cake Mills, a long-established animal feed company which made feed cakes as a by-product of refining oils from rapeseed and other seeds.
