Overview
This amateur film of first birthday celebrations taken at Harris House, Angell Town, Brixton, is a splendid record of this important family occasion. Gifts are in abundance with top toys including a much-loved wooden rocking horse and a stacking-cup set by British company Kiddicrafts whose founder Hilary 'Harry' Fisher Page famously patented the 'interlocking building brick' before Lego produced their own iconic version.
This film is from the collection of Bexley Local Studies and Archives, a member of the London's Screen Archives Network.
