Down, boy! A cheeky scene in a Victorian garden, as a dog defends his mistress from the attentions of a forward lover. Our heroine is busily darning socks while her companions, a man and woman, play with the dog. When a second gentleman joins the party, his enthusiastic embraces provoke the pooch to turn protector. In this battle of man versus dog, who will win? The story here is very slight, but provides plenty of action, including a few risqué moments, at least by the standards of the time.
