It's a New World
Early attempts at inclusive swimming for disabled people.
Overview
In the swim of things: the benefits and techniques of disabled swimming. Produced for the Amateur Swimming Association, this is a ‘train the trainers’ exercise. It makes a virtue of its very low budget, delivering information frill-free with crystal clarity. Where a film easily beats a ‘how-to’ manual is that it can show exactly what it’s talking about – which makes all the difference when its very subject is mobility. An early attempt at promoting inclusive sports and leisure for disabled people.
