Inheritance
What does the future hold for Herefordshire's children? A farming inheritance is no longer a given and even the historically rock-solid village life is losing its permanence.

Overview
What will the future hold for 7-year-old Andrew Bayliss growing up in the village of Brilley in Herefordshire? Public transport is non-existent, the village school is under threat and a previously close-knit local community stretching back generations is being altered by newcomers in search of their rural retirement idyll. How can that 'ducks on the pond' image of rural life sought by the newcomers exist alongside modern industrial farming methods?
