Hooray for Dollywood: the iconic Guinness image of a farmer carrying his horse in a cart is brought to life through stop-motion puppets.

Guinness advertising has brought us many iconic images. Alongside the toucans and girder-toting builders was the stout (pun intended) farmer carrying his shire horse in a cart. This cinema ad was commissioned by Guinness to offer a back story. Joop Geesink’s Dutch ‘Dollywood’ studio produced hundreds of commercials for cinema and television, many of them for British screens.
