After the close-up shot of the crowd there are couple of close calls in the goalmouth... did the ball cross the line? The date of the film suggests that this is the match that ended goal-less. Rangers would go on to win the replay four days later.
The damage to the film's opening title card, followed by the shot of players running towards the camera calls to mind the opening titles of western television series 'Bonanza'!
