Overview
An early film by banker and amateur photographer Fred James, showing trips to Southend, Thaxted, Windsor and Hastings. Highlights include some splendid footage of Southend Pier and Thaxted town centre, as well as a trip on the Thames at Windsor rowing past swans and other boaters. James also films the replica of Golden Hind that stood in Southend for many years.
