Overview

Penarfynydd, Rhiw – a farm by the sea – needs Carborundum whetstones as much as the next farm. Shears, scythes and binder blades all have to be sharp in order to work efficiently. This humorous advertising film uses farm activities – and several Carborundum employees in the Scythe Stone Stock Department at Trafford Park - to illustrate Carborundum's vital link with agriculture.
