Elizabeth II Coronation Celebrations

Every inch the town, a sea of red, white and blue, as flags and bunting adorn one Hertfordshire town to celebrate the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Royston Town is heavily decorated with bunting for the occasion of Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation festivities. Notably absent of townsfolk, however, this film captures befittingly in glorious colour the elaborate preparations of this Hertfordshire town. Decorations of the colours of the Union Jack adorn homes and shops, civic buildings and monuments, including a rather fancy garlanded roundabout complete with a large crown centrepiece.
