Day at Oundle School
Never a dull moment for boys in boaters at Oundle School, Northamptonshire.
Overview
Shoeing a horse, weighing pigs, metalwork, pottery, tennis, rowing or cricket - there was never a dull moment for the boys in boaters at Oundle School in Northamptonshire. Or was there? This tongue-in-cheek amateur film implies that school life is tantamount to an activities holiday - which, given the school's track record for academic achievement, surely wasn't the case.
Though uncredited, the film is clearly an in-house production. In fact, it is very likely that filmmaking and photography were among the extra-curricular activities offered - spot the boy with the stills camera. The school still prides itself on its diverse range of extra-curricular activities today.
