Overview

An opening shot of the hullabaloo of suburban Harrow and the following image of scenic fields is accompanied by a voice-over lamenting the transition away from Harrow of ages past. More scenery attributes Harrow to the inspiration of poet John Milton. The story of George Friderich Handel’s occupation of a nearby estate is detailed, unpacking a myth behind the origins of his great “Harmonious Blacksmith,” accompanied by recreated shots of the estate and its smithy.
