Overview
There’s a lovely lightness of touch to amateur filmmaker T.C. Dean’s breezy impression of life in Caldecote, a village in Cambridgeshire. Not much is known about the filmmaker but he clearly has a good rapport with his fellow villagers and the anthropological angle - villagers are referred to as ‘natives’, farm animals ‘wild beasts’ and the delivery man a ‘witch doctor’ - evinces a singular wit.
