Overview
Two villagers take refuge inside a well to escape an angry mob. Shot in black and white with no dialogue, BURN THE WITCH takes the viewer on a claustrophic, eerie trip underground with its characters. This rural gothic short film, shot through with chilling imagery, creepy costuming and threads of ancient folklore and myth, shows the viewer that there is a fate potentially worse than death.
