Overview

Home grown industry. The Hamilton and Co Brush Works was a prominent employer in the Greenhill area - at the height of WWII they delivered 50,000 shaving brushes a week to army. Lead by a suitably plummy narrator, the film documents production - from the sourcing of local beach wood to the mechanised factory floor - culminating with a housewife taking much delight in her new broom.
