Overview

Brockham Green turned the clocks back to the days of Chaucer for a medieval fair. Starting with bucolic scenes of the village and its inhabitants the film shows them dressed in medieval costumes playing a variety of characters and scenarios. A King makes a speech, blacksmiths are hard at work, knights battle it out with swords and the hogs roast on the spit. But we also see caber tossing, pipe bands, 18th century dandies, bowls, maypole dancing and a men's Donkey Derby.
