Bicycling Group
A procession of cyclists approaching the camera down the wide path of a public park
Overview
Given by the sheer number of cyclists involved, this attractive film seems to capture some kind of event - though whether it was spontaneous or staged for the benefit of the camera is open to question. It is likely to be a film shot by the Prestwich Company which describes the film as ‘Procession of over 100 cyclists mounted on their mounts on their machines’. The same catalogue adds - as if surprised - that the scene is ‘very realistic’.
