Southwick Beach is the Parfitt family's sunny destination - as with their friends they swim, sunbathe and smooch in modish fashions of the time

Overview
After some period 'Riviera' stock titles we see Southwick displayed. Once on the beach we see members of the Parfitt family and their friends merging from the sea, picnicking and returning for a bathe. The youngsters are dressed in very modish fashions - for 1964 - with scanty pants and Mary Quant style dresses. After playing in the canoe they settle down to some sunbathing, nattering and knitting with more swimming thrown in.
