"Around and About" 1948
A multitude of shows/events in south Wales, from the Glamorgan and Pentyrch Hunts Point-to-Point Races to the Llanelli Trademen’s Agricultural Show.

Extensive footage of the 1948 show season, in black and white and colour, shot by Reginald George Iles, a founder member of the South Wales and Monmouthshire Agricultural and Horse Shows Association. Mr Iles regularly showed his films at the Park Hotel, Cardiff, and in associated localities. He has captured all aspects of the shows, from jockeys with their saddles at the weigh-in to a sack race with horses and a competition to erect fencing poles.
