Overview
On a wet day at Belle Vue in Manchester, firemen and women from the regular and auxiliary services line up for their annual inspection. A brass band plays and medals are presented, before the march past and cavalcade of vehicles. Finally, there is a demonstration of firefighting techniques, including tackling fires on water by using inflatable boats.
