Overview
Beware the sound of wedding bells! This multi-layered film follows aspiring writer Lily, who seeks to avoid the restrictions of marriage and domesticity and pursue a literary career instead. The film includes extracts from Virginia Woolf's novel To the Lighthouse and her essay Professions for Women, both read by feminist filmmaker and theorist Laura Mulvey.
