Airship on a Mooring Mast
High winds are not good for airships, especially when moored: this study demonstrates what happens when the winds blow
Overview
High winds are not good for airships, especially when they are moored. This observational study film illustrates the behaviour of an SS Class Airship moored to its mast in varying winds of 8mph up to 25mph, demonstrating the vulnerability of their light and delicate construction. While this one doesn't get into trouble, it's clear why mooring stations needed to be built in secluded and sheltered areas.
