              Overview

This humorous and melancholic portrait of a senior Welsh male choir begins with the filmmakers’ father, 90-year-old widower, Ed, selling the family home and making his own funeral arrangements. His only remaining solace is Tuesday night singing practice, but with an average age of 74, his beloved choir is facing a crisis of its own. They must act or face extinction and so the search begins to find ‘brown haired men’ in their 40s and 50s who can take the choir forward. As their search intensifies, relationships deepen, and the group grows closer. Eventually, after raising enough money, the choir travels to Northern Ireland to perform for the first time in 20 years.
