Overview
Controversial, well-made short documentary that follows the lives of three young striptease artistes working in Soho. The film includes some footage of The Who, playing at the Marquee Club in 1965. Carousella is directed by John Irvin, most famous for his films Hamburger Hill and The Dogs of War.
This title is also available on the DVD/Blu-ray 'Primitive London' in the BFI Flipside collection.
