We Crip Film Festival
We Crip Film Festival is back for its second edition, a celebration of Disability Pride Month and a reclamation by the disabled film community to champion our strength, creativity and ingenuity.
We Crip Film is the BFI’s intersectional disability advocacy group with the ethos of ‘Nothing About Us Without Us’ at its core. The festival is an expression of disabled resistance and joy, as we celebrate disability screen stories and talent. It’s also a time for our community to reflect on the state of disability representation within the screen industries and the ableism that persists. This collection celebrates films past and present from the disability community. We Crip Film Festival 2026 is co-curated by Charlie Little and Tara Brown
