BFI NETWORK supported shorts
BFI NETWORK exists to support, develop and fund early career screenwriters, directors and producers.
Made possible through National Lottery funding, BFI NETWORK collaborates with film organisations and leading cultural venues across the UK to provide short film production and early feature development funding, industry-backed professional development and networking support to producers, writers, and directors aged 18 and above. Since it launched in 2013, BFI NETWORK funded shorts have secured a number of award nominations, including BAFTA and OscarĀ® wins, with the past year seeing critical acclaim and awards recognition for many BFI NETWORK alumni including BIFA winning writer-directors Harry Lighton (Pillion) and Akinola Davies Jr (My Father's Shadow).
