Overview
This companion documentary piece to Nightwatching is a forensic examination of Rembrandt’s painting, exploring some of the themes devised in the earlier film. Greenaway takes on the role of prosecutor as he interviews many of the original cast members in character, exploring the underbelly of the Dutch Golden Age and analysing the mysteries of Rembrandt’s painting.
