Village Twinning Mystery
It may have no shops, pubs or post office but to twin the village of Twenty with the Moon, as one wag did in 1982, is perhaps taking things a bit far.

Overview
Anne Leuchars visits the small village of Twenty in Lincolnshire (she claims that it got the name due to it being twenty lengths of railway line from the nearest town, which would be Bourne, although it's proximity to a local landmark called the Twenty Foot Drain casts some doubt on the claim). Clearly someone in the village is not happy with its low key existence and has suggested that it should be twinned with a place known to have even less going on: the Moon.
