Overview
The Shannon Film Company captures footage of a local activity to put up on the big screen in its cinema in Market Street (previously run by film pioneer/entrepreneur Arthur Cheetham). Onlookers buying fresh fish, or watching it being loaded onto a cart for market, are happy to be included as 'extras'. And the fishermen's friend, a happy-go-lucky black dog, is not left out – he gets a free fish. The title cards on this film are interesting in their variety (see 'The End' boat).
