Overview

The 15th century Mug House pub at Claines in Worcestershire is that rare thing; a pub built on consecrated ground. This piece of silent film from Midland Montage shows the short walk through the cemetery of St John the Baptist church, which leads conveniently to a warm welcome at the Mug House. The pub's reputed ghost (they all seem to have them) unfortunately fails to make an appearance.
