Overview
Doing their bit for 1920s product placement, the Topical Budget newsreel offers another dose of yuletide inspiration for more affluent cinemagoers wanting to treat their offspring to the latest mechanical wonders. Modern day kids and adults alike may find this "great army of novelties" a tad creepy, but who really needs a smartphone when you can have a mechanical goat goggling at a white rabbit emerging from a cabbage?
