Overview
Symmetry, depth, smoothness of flesh and a grand masculine head. You might not have judged cattle before, but this Gaumont-British Instructional short will soon have you up to speed. Directed with much skill by Mary Field, it keeps commentary to an absolute minimum and subtly mixes sound stage and location work. Part of the Regional Geography series, the result is a rewardingly non-didactic educational film with some great shots of Hereford market.
