Overview
In this promotional film for the Co-operative Wholesale Society, a husband and wife argue at breakfast about her dress allowance. The dispute remains unresolved until the woman's friend comes to the rescue. By revealing the secret of her own Co-op purchases, she inspires our heroine to follow her example, dressing stylishly and economically, and thus restoring peace in the family home.
The preservation of this film was funded by a grant from the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
