Overview

Starting with a real farmer's market, this film then shows what looks like the entire population of Crawley turned out in bunting and fancy-dress, and that also includes their vehicles, for the 1935 Silver Jubilee. Then, just two years later, they come out again in an amazing variety of imaginative costumes, and once more that applies to their vehicles as well, for the Coronation of George IV. Watch out for the woman in the giant crinoline.
