Overview
Lincoln is a city in which the ancient merges seamlessly with the modern as cars zip around the remains of the ancient Roman city. The 11th century cathedral, once said to be the tallest building in the world, continues to dominate the skyline and its expensive and time consuming upkeep is documented in this promotional film, which includes a visit by Prince Charles to inspect the restoration work in 1979.
