Overview

It’s summer and Caerleon Cricket Club players are in action, the film-maker recording their athleticism with slow motion shots. Ernest Charles Jordan II, son of Newport builder Ernest Charles Jordan, who owned the town’s White Rose Laundry, uses 16mm colour film, recently available from Kodak. The names ‘Reg and Walter Young, Pontnewydd’, are inscribed on the original can.
