Overview

Bognor Regis lives up to its regal connections with a lavish procession of decorated citizens, cars and bicycles, in this amateur film from 1935. Half the population seems to be taking part in the parade of pirates, hospitals, scouts and other social activities, while cars are decorated to look like liners, galleons or aircraft. We then see a gymnastic display in a local park followed by an organised 'house-fire' staged, and doused, by Bognor’s Fire Brigade.
