Overview

Made by Edward Charles Le Grice, circa 1935. A keen amateur filmmaker, Mr Le Grice of Norwich took along his 16mm camera to Blakeney Point, a National Nature Reserve that lies within the North Norfolk Coast. The film begins with the journey in a small boat, presumably from nearby Morston, and arriving at the Point, and continues as a wonderful record of the terns and their chicks and of oystercatchers in flight.

Blakeney Point is a National Nature Reserve, managed by the National Trust since 1912. It is a North Norfolk Coast Site of Special Scientific Interest.
