Overview

This promotional film is a wonderful snapshot of 1950s life as the broadcaster Freddie Grisewood, with his panel of jovial chaps - and Mrs Giles, a representative housewife - answer questions from other housewives across the country. Cotton's versatility and durability are demonstrated, and Mrs Giles, unsurprisingly, is happy with the panel's advice, declaring "Britain makes the best!"
