The East Anglian Film Archive, the first and largest Regional Film Archive in England, was established in 1976. Since 1984, EAFA has been owned and operated by the University of East Anglia, Norwich (UEA), to support research and work to preserve our moving image heritage. More than 250 hours are freely available online as examples of the wide range of film which attracts interest the world over.

Overview
Aerial views replace the traditional on-the-ground footage, showing two towns sitting astride the Grand Union Canal on the border between Beds and Bucks. Because of its proximity to London the area faced rapid change and this unique perspective draws into focus how the landscape has altered. Featured is the overwhelming sight of the sand quarries - evidence of the burgeoning brick industry; as well as the road networks and built-up town centre.
