Unidentified Trams and Walking Race 1902

United Kingdom

The whereabouts of the street scene and the following scenes on the common remain unknown, and the film offers few clues. We suspect it was commissioned by exhibitor Mr Tweedale who was active in the Morecambe and Carlisle area at this time, but even that's not certain. Note the presence of a gangly teenager who can't resist passing the camera repeatedly, gurning furiously.
