Tomorrow Never Comes 1977 15

102 mins Canada Director. Peter Collinson

Peter Collinson (The Italian Job) directs this tense, violent hostage drama starring Oliver Reed as a negotiator trying to barter the release of Susan George from her deranged partner.

The largely British cast and crew upended to Quebec to shoot this film at the height of the Canadian tax-shelter boom of the 1970s, a climate that helped nurture the development of Canadian talents such as David Cronenberg and Ivan Reitman.
