The Sewing Machine is disturbingly effective 60 second road safety film, directed by documentary giant John Krish, showing the dangers of parents leaving children on their own near traffic. A mother, who sits at her sewing machine inside her house, warns her daughter to stay on the pavement, to no avail. An on screen counter runs down from 60 seconds in real-time building the feeling of dread as the seconds tick by.
