Surrey v Lincolnshire - The Gillette Cup 1974 1974

1 mins United Kingdom

Lincolnshire Cricket Club have already beaten a first Test county cricket club - Glamorgan, and so are quietly confident to enter the second round of the Gillette Cup Competition. Anglia Television report on all the action from the Lindum Sports Ground, Lincoln where Lincolnshire square up to Surrey, in July 1974. Sadly for Lincolnshire, Surrey won by 123 runs, with Player of the Match being Surrey’s Geoff Arnold. Chris Young for Anglia speaks with Lincs captain Ian Moore.

The East Anglian Film Archive, the first and largest Regional Film Archive in England, was established in 1976. Since 1984, EAFA has been owned and operated by the University of East Anglia, Norwich (UEA), to support research and work to preserve our moving image heritage. More than 250 hours are freely available online as examples of the wide range of film which attracts interest the world over.
